Stage 1: Ka-Tuhanan (Self-Awareness)

The journey of PANCASILA DASAR SALIRA begins with the most fundamental step: KA-TUHANAN. This is the stage of "Brave" to break the chains of the "Digital Cave" that anesthetizes our consciousness.

The "Ka-" prefix in Ka-Tuhanan signifies a STATE or QUALITY, not an external entity. The first precept is not a command to worship a distant "God" in the sky, but an invitation to perform GNOSIS: to recognize and feel the immanent (present) Divine qualities within ourselves.

That Divine quality is the pure consciousness, compassion, and creativity that form the core of who we are. Like the analogy "ACUK KACAAN" (Clothes Touched by Water), Ka-Tuhanan is not the "clothes" or the "water" (the objects), but the "feeling of wetness" itself (the direct experience). This is a universal inner experience, transcending the boundaries of formal religion.

FINDING "KURING" (THE TRUE SELF)

The core of Stage 1 is an introspective journey: "PADUNGDENGAN KURING JEUNG KURUNG" (The Dialogue between the "True Self" and the "Cage" or Body).

This philosophy distinguishes three fundamental components of the self (Aji Dipa):

  1. KURUNG (Body/Vessel): Our physical body, the temporary cage.
  2. RASA (Inner Essence): The inner essence, feelings, and thoughts that animate the body.
  3. KURING (The True Self): The eternal, pure consciousness, the witness observing the Body and Essence.

Mind colonization occurs when we misidentify ourselves as the KURUNG (body/mind/ego), making us easily enslaved by desires and fears. Stage 1 is the process of realizing our true identity as KURING (pure consciousness). This is the foundation of self-sovereignty.

DASAKRETA (TEN GATES OF SELF-SOVEREIGNTY)

To achieve inner clarity (KURING NYARING or "The Awakened Self"), the practical step is to master DASAKRETA, or the ten disciplines of controlling the "sensory gates" taught in the ancient manuscript Sanghyang Siksakandang Karesian (SSK).

This is a "cognitive firewall" to filter external coercion and information "pollution" from the Digital Cave. This discipline includes conscious control over what we see (eyes), hear (ears), say (mouth), and even our actions (hands and feet). By mastering Dasakreta, we stop being reactive and start being proactive. We are no longer enslaved by external stimuli, but act based on the guidance of KURING (true consciousness) from within.

This discipline divides the 10 gates into two categories: 5 Input Gates (Sensory) to filter reality, and 5 Output Gates (Action) to create reality.

5 Input Gates (Sensory)

  • Mata ulah barang deuleu: Shift the eyes from "passive consumer" (hypnotized) to "active scanner" (seeking truth).
  • Ceuli ulah barang denge: Train the inner ear to distinguish "noise" (ego/external) from "silence" (KURING/intuition).
  • Irung ulah barang ambeu: Control animal instincts (KURUNG) and the lure of superficial luxury, keeping KURING in command.
  • Letah ulah barang carek: Discipline over base desires (indulgence). If we can't control the tongue, we can't control emotion.
  • Kulit ulah barang rampa: Cultivate inner resilience, to remain unshaken by physical comfort or discomfort.

5 Output Gates (Action)

  • Sungut ulah barang ucap: Master speech as a creative "mantra" (Sabda). Speak with intent, not energy leaks (gossip, complaints).
  • Leungeun ulah barang cokot: Transform the hand's function from "taking" (ego accumulation/corruption) to "giving" (Dharma manifestation).
  • Suku ulah barang tincak: Every step is a conscious, strategic choice aligned with KURING, not a reaction dragged by the current.
  • Payu ulah barang pake: (Baga/Purusa) Transmutation of creative energy. Refine raw libido into "fuel" for Gnosis and higher creativity.
  • Tumbung ulah barang pake: (Anus) Symbolizes release. The discipline to let go of what is no longer needed (grudges, trauma) and avoid attachment.
